Link Trainer Project

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The Link trainer was invented in the 1930's to teach pilots how to fly on instruments.  It went on to teach instrument flying to the pilots of World War Two.

Link trainers are still in use today, albeit in a different form.  What was once analog is now digital.

This project concerns the construction of a replica of a 1930's Link trainer.  It is hoped that the History Fanatics' crew will be able to take this display to schools to demonstrate engineering, mathematics, and science to the students.
