Ambulance Project

In an effort to Keep History Alive, History Fanatics is attempting to replicate several ambulances from history.

These include a 1917 Ford Ambulance, a 1955 Dodge Ambulance, a 1967 Jeep Ambulance, and a 1998 HumVee Ambulance.

If you can help us on any of these, we greatly appreciate the help.  Or, if you would like to volunteer to tell the story of the Medical Services, please contact us!

This project is dedicated to those who go into harms' way to perform life-saving acts.

  • 1917 Ford Ambulance

Used by Allied Expeditionary Forces in Europe in World War One, these ambulances were donated by the charities.

    1917 Ford Model T Ambulance

  • 1955 Dodge Ambulance

    Power Wagon Ambulance
The above photo, a US Navy Ambulance, shows a mid-1950's ambulance, similar to what we are attempting.
  • 1967 Jeep Ambulance

  • 1998 HumVee Ambulance

The HumVee 1-1/4 Ton truck is curently used by U.S. Forces for almost as many purposes as the original World War Two Jeep.
