As with any non-profit, we are looking for contributions and donations. However, unlike most non-profits, we don't have a paid staff or paid directors.
What does this mean?
It means that 100% of what you donate goes to our projects. Nothing goes into our pockets.
History Fanatics is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit by the IRS, and is registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Texas. We have our paperwork from both the IRS and the State, and can provide both on request.
If you would like to contribute to History Fanatics by check or money order, please make payable to History Fanatics, and mail to:

Robert is currently working on making it easier for you to make a donation, if you should so choose. You can contact him if you have questions.
We do this because of our love of history. We want to share that love with you.
Although it appears that we concentrate on weapons, we try not to. Weapons do figure prominently in most displays. But, they are merely the tools of the people who used them. Our main focus is on the people. Weapons are recognized by everybody. An example is the M16 rifle and how it is associated with Vietnam. Despite all of its problems, and a plethora of other weapons used during that conflict, the M16 has come to symbolize the U.S. Military in Vietnam.
In West Texas, the Aeromotor windmill symbolizes water. And, the walking beam pump jack symbolizes oil. Both are symbols of Texas. And, both are too large for History Fanatics to tote to displays.
Just as the pen may grant freedom, the firearm guarantees that freedom. A pen can't protect you in the dead of night against an unseen threat. And a firearm can't tell the whole story of a people. But, by working together, stories can be told and freedoms passed from generation to generation.
History Fanatics is striving towards a museum based on the history and technology of the 20th Century. Although similar to other museums in this regard, such as The 20th Century Technology Museum, History Fanatics is taking it a few steps further.
Most museums have items displayed on shelves behind glass, where you can’t get a real grasp as to what the items are. You come in, shuffle through a couple of rooms, and leave. Yes, you’ve seen interesting artifacts, but, so what?
History Fanatics is proposing a change to the standard. We are looking at interactive displays, where the viewer is part of the display.
Just take a moment to stop and think about how much life was changed by the advancements in technology in the 20th Century.
