The Doolittle Tokyo Raiders 70th Anniversary of the Raid and reunion will be held at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
Raiders planning on attending include: Lt. Col. Richard E. Cole Co-pilot of No. 1, Maj. Thomas C. Griffin Navigator on No. 9, Lt. Col. Robert L. Hite Co-pilot of No. 16, Lt. Col. Edward J. Saylor, Engineer-Gunner of No. 15 and Master Sgt. David J. Thatcher Engineer-Gunner of No. 7.
On April 18, 1942, the Doolittle Raid was the first air raid by the United States to strike Japan during WWII. By demonstrating that Japan itself was vulnerable to American air attack, it provided a vital morale boost and opportunity for U.S. retaliation after the horrible attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
The daring raid was planned and led by Lieutenant Colonel James “Jimmy" Doolittle.
Reenactment of the battle of Montelimar, August, 1944, when the 36th Infantry Division almost cut off the escape of the German 19th Army following the invasion of Southern France (Operation Dragoon).

All Allied and Axis World War II impressions welcome. Civilian impressions relevant to the above also welcome.

The 2012 NDQSA National Reunion will be held at the beautiful Hotel Murano,from Wednesday July 11th, 2012 to Sunday July 15th, 2012. The Hotel is located in downtown Tacoma, Washington.
This is the only reunion officially sanctioned by the National Dusters, Quads, and Searchlights Association, Inc.
