Keeping History Alive

“Our focus is the preserving and promoting of history by creating an environment for collecting, documenting, interpreting, and exhibiting artifacts and information for both public education and enjoyment.”

Pays heed to all those who have been "forgotten" in history; Gives thanks to those who deserve it; Attempts to recognize important, but overlooked, facets of history.

We work with some of the finest re-enacting groups in the USA.  But, we're not re-enactors.  We also work with some of the best museums in the USA.  But, we (at this time) are not a museum.  

History Fanatics works with many historical groups and preservation societies.  We consider ourselves "living historians," in that we bring history to life.

A perk of joining History Fanatics is getting to see the inner workings and special views of air shows and other special events. Very few people get to do some of the stuff we have done - amphibious landings on Galveston Island, Texas; manning artillery (and firing it); coming under "attack" from vintage aircraft; driving vintage vehicles (40-60 years of age), including fire trucks, jeeps, trucks, and armored vehicles; sleeping aboard WW2 ships, aircraft, and other vehicles.  Plus a whole bunch of other stuff.

4) an animal welfare organization.

History is not politically correct, and neither are we. We attempt to show what history really was, and not the corrected version.

History Fanatics does not in any way exist to glorify war.  However, we do recognize that war is what happens when diplomacy fails, and, thus, is sometimes necessary in stopping a greater threat.  We DO recognize and honor the sacrifice that our veterans, their families, and even our society have made for us – you and me – to retain and enjoy our precious freedoms.

History Fanatics DOES NOT and WILL NOT condone nor glorify the extreme ideals of the Third Reich, USSR, Fascist Italy, Imperial Japan, North Korea, North Viet Nam, Syria, Cuba, the KKK, etc.

We are dedicated to history, not hate.
